07.00 S 4, rain, move further south (Loch nam Ban), shallow (1.8M) but sand/mud, seems good

Monday 7th July - Loch nam Ban (shallow but sand), North Uist

12.50 Weigh anchor, S 4/5, rain, Genoa, passage across the sound dodging rocks, islands & birds
14.35 Pick up visitor mooring in Poll an Tigh Mhail, enter via harbour passage, just us in near perfect anchorage
19.00 Meal ashore ar very odd hotel, good steak pie but terrible modern paintings
