11.50 wind E 4/7, too gust close to cliffs, 2 reefs in Main
hunda 12.10 entering Howy sound, wind 25kn aheasd, sun, very short steep seas, Main down, Motor
12.45 Anchor in Stromness between the two holms in 4.2m, later enter marina, log 26 miles

Saturday 8th July - Rysa Sound anchorage

11.00 - 15.00 wind S 2/3, sun/showers, Walk over to Museum at Lyness
15.30 - 16.45 motor round to Longhope, pick up visitors mooring, log 3.4 miles

09.00 ESE 2, p 1005, weather grey but getting brighter
11.20 leave mooring motoring towards Widewall bay, S Ronalsay
12.45 Drop anchor 3.7 m off Herston villge slip
13.45-17.30 walk around bay visiting St. Margarets
17.35 Weigh anchor for return to Longhope, wind N 4, overcast, motor then Genoa
18.55 Pick up visitor mooring at Longhope, Log 13.7 miles

Monday 10 July - Longnope visitor mooring

09.35 Sail off mooring heading for north Hoy, wind S 3/4, sun & cloud, p 1020, Main + Genoa
11.30 Anchor in 3.1 m off ...., stow dinghy & cover mainsail
12.35 Weigh anchor, Motor
13.30 tie up in Strmness Marina & make boat shipshape for departure. log 14.8 miles
