16.00 Anchor off Coppagh Pier, W 3, overcast, take Genoa to Eliz Saunders for repair.

20.00 Return to Scattery island anchorage, weather seems settled 1034.5mb

11.45 Anchor off Carrigaholt new pier,, W 5(6)
19.00 NW 4/5 Cold front past - somwhat brighter weather

09.40 Sail out of anchorage - Main only, NNW 4/5
10.20 Hoist Genoa with some shelter from the land - seems OK
Sail on to Kilbaha anchorage with many dolphins
Long walk ashore, roch arch, rough seas, deserted countyside

09.35 Off Loop head, motor off, 1 reef in main, NNW 4(5)

12.00 Off Kilkee, head up for Hags Head, wind ~50 deg apparent
12.30 head up again, vane at 50deg
15.00 Make course for Aran, WNW 4(5)
17.10 Anchor off Kilronan, Inishmore
